The Role

This is a Property and Project Manager/Mentor role — hands-on, varied, and never boring. You’ll be the person we rely on to keep our Alaska properties running, improving, and growing. One day you’re managing a home renovation, the next you’re handling an emergency or negotiating with a contractor. You’ll also be building up the people around you.

What You’ll Do

  • Handle property emergencies as they arise — fast and effectively
  • Fully renovate homes including mobile homes to a high standard
  • Perform and oversee maintenance including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry repairs
  • Assist with obtaining permits, executing evictions, and regulatory compliance
  • Find, hire, and manage subcontractors
  • Negotiate the purchase and sale of homes and mobile homes
  • Supervise and train junior maintenance workers in trades, work ethic, and problem-solving

Skills & Experience

  • Current driver’s license
  • Competent in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and basic handyman problem-solving
  • Technologically proficient — comfortable with phones, apps, and basic software
  • Willing to face difficult tasks, extreme cold, complicated problems, and demanding people
  • Someone who enjoys having new and varied challenges
